Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Dutra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamilton Eslay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Eslay's choice of entrance music: Paul Gilbert - Scarified. Hamilton Eslay is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matheus Dutra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hamilton Eslay! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dutra throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dutra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Eslay lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Eslay connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Dutra misses with a left hand enabling Eslay to counter with a crisp jab. Dutra takes one to the side of the head.

and Eslay counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dutra wants to stand back up but Eslay manages to pass into side control.
Eslay controlling from side mount. Dutra is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Eslay staying calm. Dutra is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Eslay asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dutra is trying to escape the position but Eslay is controlling the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! It looks like Eslay might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hamilton Eslay. Dutra throws a combination that misses and Eslay moves into the clinch. Eslay breaks from the clinch.

and Eslay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dutra throws a combination that misses and Eslay counters with a stiff right hand. Dutra is breathing heavily. Dutra rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Eslay counters with a nice body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Eslay lands a nice shot that snaps Dutra's head back.
Eslay dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eslay connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Eslay lands with a straight right. Dutra didn't see that one coming.
Dutra is rocked! Eslay lands an uppercut, right on the button! Dutra tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hamilton Eslay!
