The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franzelius is trying hard to land a takedown here. Drwal sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Drwal throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A slapping leg kick lands for Franzelius.
Drwal lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Stefan Franzelius has been cut. Franzelius fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Franzelius shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Drwal's guard. Drwal trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Franzelius is looking for a kimura here.

Franzelius utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Drwal is looking to stand up but Franzelius won't let him. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Franzelius shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Drwal counters by clinching up. Drwal is looking to break free of the clinch but Franzelius has double underhooks. Franzelius avoids a wild elbow strike from Drwal. Franzelius has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Drwal avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Drwal lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Franzelius backwards. Drwal breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Franzelius shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Drwal counters with a nice uppercut. Drwal fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Drwal swinging wildly here.
Franzelius takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Franzelius takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Good leg kick by Drwal there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
And that's the end of the fight! Tomasz Drwal showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Drwal, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
