Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida clinches up against the cage.
Seenan trying to control the position but instead, Yoshida has worked for underhooks and has pushed Seenan into the cage.
Seenan throws a head punch that misses.
Seenan wants to break free but Yoshida has control.

Yoshida tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Seenan smiles and moves away.
Seenan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ryan Seenan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoshida shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Seenan pinned against the cage. Seenan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Seenan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

and Yoshida counters with a nice double leg into side control. Seenan won't be happy with that.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yoshida in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Yoshida decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Yoshida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seenan tries to avoid it but Yoshida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seenan to the ground. Seenan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Seenan stalks Yoshida and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Yoshida's face. Yoshida staggers backwards, shaken.
Seenan connects with a nice looking jab.

Seenan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yoshida moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Yoshida counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Yoshida.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Yoshida doesn't manage to clinch there - Seenan circles away.
Seenan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Yoshida jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seenan walks away with a smile on his face. Yoshida gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A looping hook to the body misses from Seenan. Yoshida does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yoshida tries to clinch but Seenan is having none of it.
Yoshida throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yoshida is defended easily by Seenan.
Seenan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Seenan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Yoshida closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yoshida lands in his opponent's guard.
Seenan wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Yoshida is now in half guard.
Yoshida is stalling here. Seenan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yoshida seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Seenan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Seenan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Seenan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Yoshida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seenan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shinji Yoshida.
