The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metusalem rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sorsa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sorsa tries for a takedown but Metusalem sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Metusalem misses with a double jab
and Sorsa counters with a nice leg kick.
Metusalem digs a good body shot into Sorsa's ribs.
Metusalem connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sorsa momentarily.
Metusalem scores with a nice right hand.

and Sorsa counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Metusalem's guard now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Metusalem can do anything to dispel that myth.
Metusalem is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sorsa is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sorsa drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Metusalem manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sorsa has Metusalem in his guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sorsa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Metusalem doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sorsa is tightening it up a little... Metusalem has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Metusalem reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Metusalem taps out! nice BJJ there by Sorsa!
