Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Boogaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Test Protoype (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Test Protoype will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Boogaard as Protoype shoots in.
Protoype has a takedown stuffed.
Protoype misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Derek Boogaard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Test Protoype.
A combination from Protoype does no damage.
Protoype looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boogaard is fending him off so far but Protoype persists. Nope, Boogaard circles away and we're back to standing.
Boogaard moves into the clinch.
Protoype breaks the clinch.
Protoype shoots for a takedown but Boogaard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Protoype shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boogaard feints and as Protoype raises his hands in defense, Boogaard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Protoype wants to sweep here but Boogaard controlling him for the moment.
Protoype can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Boogaard controls the pace.
Boogaard wants to pass the guard but Protoype is keeping the position.

Protoype is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Boogaard thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Protoype not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Left hook, right uppercut from Boogaard.
Protoype is looking to clinch but Boogaard is avoiding it.
Protoype has his takedown stuffed
and Boogaard counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boogaard.
Boogaard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boogaard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Boogaard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Boogaard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Protoype swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Boogaard slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Boogaard's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Boogaard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Protoype swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Protoype is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Protoype looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Boogaard passes into half guard.
Boogaard prevents Protoype from improving his position.
Boogaard has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Protoype defend it? Boogaard steps over the head and cranks it - Protoype is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Boogaard!
