The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone lands a head shot. Gomulka takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Stone throws a poor cross that misses
and Gomulka counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stone lands with a hook. Gomulka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Stone throws a wild body kick that Gomulka sees coming a mile off. Stone misses with a right hand enabling Gomulka to counter with a crisp jab. Keith Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone cracks a nice hook into Gomulka's ribs. Gomulka takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone is looking to slow Gomulka down with leg kicks. Stone scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Stone lands a few punches from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Stone scoring with punches and elbows. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone working away. Stone is looking to take a break and control but Gomulka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stone is really struggling to control Gomulka but he's trying to hold on to the position. Gomulka looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone working the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone throws an elbow but Gomulka slips to the side and avoids it well. The strikes coming from Stone are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Stone postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Stone in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gomulka is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
