The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Nunes lands a stunning uppercut that sends Lii to the mat!

It looks like Hong Lii has been cut.

Nunes is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lii sees it coming and defends easily.
Nunes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lii's head.

Nunes is trying to work for a kimura but Lii is defending well.
Lii is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nunes scores with a couple of nice shots.

Nunes seems to be working for a kimura but Lii defends the submission attempt.
Nunes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lii with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lii is still in real trouble! Can Nunes finish him?
Nunes lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Lii! More strikes land and this one is all over! Nunes jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
