Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seigfreid Sassoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boyan Cadell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cadell has chosen Run to the Hills as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Seigfreid Sassoon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Boyan Cadell! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Cadell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cadell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cadell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sassoon to the mat! Sassoon manages to get full guard. Cadell won't allow Sassoon to sweep him here. Cadell is looking to stand up but Sassoon won't let him. Sassoon keeping moving, preventing Cadell from controlling successfully. Sassoon looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cadell trying to control the position from guard on top but Sassoon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Boyan Cadell. Sassoon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Cadell counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sassoon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cadell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cadell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cadell content to stall in guard here. Let's hope that Cadell has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cadell won't allow Sassoon to sweep him here. Sassoon keeping moving, preventing Cadell from controlling successfully. Sassoon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Cadell trying to control the position from guard on top but Sassoon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sassoon isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cadell stacks Sassoon on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cadell! Cadell looks up at the clock and then as Sassoon takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cadell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cadell is looking to take a break and control but Sassoon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cadell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sassoon to his feet. Sassoon throws a body punch but Cadell moves out of range. Sassoon with a lazy takedown attempt and Cadell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sassoon's guard now. Cadell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cadell thows a big elbow that misses. Cadell sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sassoon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cadell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sassoon is breathing heavily. Cadell would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cadell trying to control the position from guard on top but Sassoon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sassoon looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Cadell passes into side control.
Cadell wants to control but Sassoon is keeping him busy. Sassoon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cadell off and has taken his back! Cadell trying to control but not successfully. Sassoon doesn't have the hooks in and Cadell manages to turn into his guard.
Sassoon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cadell with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sassoon wants to sweep but no luck. Cadell cracks Sassoon with a solid left hand. Sassoon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cadell defends well. Cadell wants to control from the top but Sassoon keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sassoon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cadell is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boyan Cadell dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sassoon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cadell counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sassoon has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cadell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sassoon. Sassoon is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Cadell is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Sassoon can't escape the position.
Cadell controlling his opponent. Cadell is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sassoon is surviving well by controlling Cadell's body position as best he can. Sassoon is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sassoon is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cadell is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sassoon has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sassoon! Sassoon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sassoon stops Cadell from standing up. Cadell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sassoon is aware though and is defending well. Sassoon trying to control the position from guard on top but Cadell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sassoon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cadell is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sassoon throws and elbow that misses. Cadell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sassoon's guard. Nice move by Cadell! Cadell stopping the sweep attempt from Sassoon. Sassoon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cadell manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sassoon wants to control from the top but Cadell keeps moving. Sassoon looking to pass the guard. Cadell controls Sassoon momentarily but Sassoon frees himself. Cadell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sassoon defends well. Cadell preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sassoon trying to move into half guard but instead Cadell has managed to sweep! Cadell looking to pass the guard. Sassoon tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cadell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sassoon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sassoon is looking for a triangle but Cadell pushes his legs off easily.
Cadell makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cadell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sassoon is keeping the position for now. Sassoon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cadell is one step ahead there. Sassoon trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cadell looking to pass the guard. Cadell scoring with some ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sassoon is on top in guard.
Cadell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sassoon manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sassoon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cadell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sassoon is tightening it up a little... Cadell has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cadell reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cadell taps out! nice BJJ there by Sassoon!
