Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chazz Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by The Tanks go Marching Through. Rua is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dick in a Box. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rua!
Rua throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Rua wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Rua feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf.
A thudding body kick lands there by Rua!
Rua throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jones's head.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Rua lands the left hand.
Rua lands a high kick!
Rua misses with a combination
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Rua tries a head kick but it misses.
Rua tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
Rua blocks a jab.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rua closes the distance but Jones moves to the side
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
Rua tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Jones throws a good cross that connects.
Rua tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rua.
Jones throws a right hand that Rua ducks under and follows up with a left that Rua also avoids with ease.
Rua throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it.

Rua drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jones takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Rua misses with a takedown attempt
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Rua shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Chazz Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Rua.
Jones lands a nice shot to the body.

Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rua.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones throws a right hand that Rua ducks under and follows up with a left that Rua also avoids with ease.
Jones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Rua tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones lands with a straight right. Rua didn't see that one coming.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rua.

and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Rua will be more careful next time no doubt.
Anderson Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rua misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Rua looks to clinch
and Jones counters with a left to the body.
Rua closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Rua pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chazz Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rua throws a head kick that Jones semi-blocks.
Rua throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jones's head.

Jones is rocked!
Jones is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Rua lands a huge takedown. Jones is out but the ref is slow to react and Rua lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Jones lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
