Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ulf Minutsak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Son Wukong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ulf Minutsak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Son Wukong!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minutsak dodges the punch combination from Wukong.
Minutsak throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Minutsak gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wukong wants to get up but he can't break Minutsak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wukong is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wukong postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Minutsak to stand up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Minutsak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Son Wukong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wukong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Minutsak's waist but Minutsak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wukong off to one side.

Minutsak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Son Wukong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Wukong winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
