Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ham Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaio Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ham Davids could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kaio Pitbull's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ham Davids!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaio Pitbull!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull darts in trying to clinch
and Pitbull takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Davids shoots in looking for a takedown but Pitbull manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Davids's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pitbull tries to clinch but Davids moves away

and Davids counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pitbull's guard now.
Pitbull is trying to control the position but Davids postures up.

Pitbull working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davids doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Davids manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davids stands up and waves to Pitbull to follow him.

Pitbull has managed to clinch.
Pitbull is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Pitbull wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Davids tightens his grip and picks Pitbull up, before dumping him to the ground. Pitbull manages to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davids accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Davids gets to his feet - Pitbull follows without any prompting.
Davids wants to clinch.

Davids clinches up against the cage.
Pitbull wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Davids has him pressed against the cage.
Davids tries to pull guard but Pitbull won't allow it.
Davids looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ham Davids. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pitbull is working Davids over against the cage.

Davids has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pitbull regains guard immediately.
Davids prevents Pitbull from getting back to his feet.

Davids drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pitbull dives on top into guard.
Davids is breathing heavily.
Pitbull is looking to stand up but Davids won't let him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davids looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davids is working hard here to advance position.
Pitbull trying to control but Davids is working from the bottom.
Pitbull stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davids swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kaio Pitbull hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Pitbull dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pitbull wants to clinch up but Davids keeps it at a distance.
Pitbull throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pitbull fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Davids has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kaio Pitbull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pitbull misses with the combination.
Pitbull misses with a series of wild punches.
Pitbull wants to clinch up but Davids keeps it at a distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pitbull.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pitbull scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Ham Davids has been cut.
Pitbull tries to clinch up.
Pitbull throws a head kick that misses.
Pitbull fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pitbull tries to clinch up but Davids circles away and keeps his distance.
Pitbull tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Davids counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Davids.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Davids is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Pitbull has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Davids is looking to defend but Pitbull has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Davids! Pitbull pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Davids taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kaio Pitbull!
