Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steven Li!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a right and a left that Poor avoids nicely.
Poor looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Poor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Li counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Poor!
Li tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
It looks like Li might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Steven Li.
A nice combination there by Li.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Li misses with a body kick.
Poor blocks the body kick.
Li closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Poor slaps away a takedown attempt from Li, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick misses from Li.
Poor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Li swivels and escapes.
Li scores with a kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Li tries a head kick but it misses.
Poor has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A right-left combo lands from Li.
Poor is rocked!
Whack! Li lands a heavy head kick that drops Poor. The ref tackles Li to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Poor was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Steven Li!
