Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Whitewas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dallas Bond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Whitewas! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Whitewas or perhaps it was just good defense by Bond which made him look bad. Bond jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bond closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Whitewas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bond just stands there and leans against the cage. Whitewas drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dallas Bond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Whitewas. Whitewas tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bond can't break the clinch.
Whitewas goes for a takedown attempt but Bond pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bond listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Whitewas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bond's guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bond not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bond is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bond on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bond tries to get out of the position. Bond not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Whitewas preventing the sweep. Whitewas is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bond is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bond has escaped and now he's on top! Whitewas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond wants to control from the top but Whitewas keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bond lands a couple of elbows. Bond trying to control the position from guard on top but Whitewas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whitewas keeping full guard, as Bond tries to pass. Whitewas has his foot on Bond's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bond works his way back into a safe position though. Bond throwing strikes but missing.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Whitewas throws a nice looking combination but Bond bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Whitewas looks gassed! Bond thuds a left hand into Whitewas's body. Bond connects with a good right hand that stumbles Whitewas. Whitewas circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bond fails to land with a series of punches.
Whitewas walks into a left hand. Whitewas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bond lands a head shot. Bond clinches up with Whitewas and pushes him back against the cage. Bond breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dave Whitewas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Whitewas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Whitewas moves out of range of the strikes. Bond lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Whitewas is rocked! Bond tries to clinch there but Whitewas circles away.
Whitewas is still on wobbly legs! Can Bond finish him? Bond jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A big head kick from Bond and Whitewas is sent sprawling to the canvas! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bond is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bond postures up and lands a big shot to Whitewas's brow. Bond thows a big elbow that misses. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bond's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Whitewas seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bond tries to free his leg and advance position but Whitewas is retaining full guard. Whitewas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bond stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whitewas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bond has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bond wants to control from the top but Whitewas keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Whitewas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Whitewas has an Americana. Bond didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Whitewas is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Whitewas hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dave Whitewas!
