The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scotch looks to score with a jab to the body but McGully is just out of range.
McGully lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
McGully decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Scotch is trying to get back to full guard.
McGully thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
McGully is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Scotch wants to get back to his feet.
McGully not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Scotch makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Scotch on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McGully. McGully obviously looking to wear him down.
Jason McGully seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGully must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McGully throws a strike but Scotch rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

McGully doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

McGully wants to clinch but Scotch slips to the side
and Scotch counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McGully!
McGully tries to lock up and control but Scotch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Scotch lands with some strikes.

McGully is rocked!

A big strike lands for Scotch! That's really hurt McGully and he's turned his back - Scotch keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Scotch jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
