Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angelo Villar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lotfi Sariahmed!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villar tries for a takedown but Sariahmed circles away easily
and Sariahmed counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sariahmed shoots in but no luck this time.
Villar fails with a takedown attempt.
Villar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sariahmed counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Villar throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sariahmed moves into the clinch.
Villar throws a knee to the head but misses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Sariahmed has Villar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Villar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Sariahmed blocks an elbow strike.
Villar wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Angelo Villar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Villar tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Villar is breathing heavily.
Sariahmed gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Sariahmed perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sariahmed is pressing down on Villar's thigh, looking to free his foot. Villar is holding on for now.

Sariahmed is keen to just control but Villar is a slippery customer.
Villar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Villar tries to get out of the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Lotfi Sariahmed was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Sariahmed closes this distance looking for a takedown but Villar circles away.
Villar connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Sariahmed tumbling to the canvas! Villar pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Sariahmed was done - good stoppage!
