The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar jabs Angus to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lesnar feints and then cracks Angus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Angus down.
A left and a right from Lesnar both land. Nice combination.
Lesnar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Angus circles away quickly and effectively.
Brian Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lesnar throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Angus counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Lesnar has his foot on Angus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Angus works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Angus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lesnar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Angus defends well.

Lesnar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Angus stacks Lesnar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Angus!

Angus has an Americana. Lesnar didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Angus is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Angus hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
