Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Caraan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piroco Murcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caraan comes to the cage accompanied by TubThumping(I get Knockdown). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cedric Caraan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Piroco Murcho! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murcho gets a takedown into half guard. Murcho wants to pass the guard but Caraan is defending well. Caraan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Murcho is taking a breather. Caraan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Murcho is looking for a kimura here.
Murcho is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Nice strikes from Murcho there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Murcho tries to pass to full mount but Caraan defends it. Murcho is looking for a kimura but Caraan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Murcho to get the leverage. Caraan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Murcho pulls his head out easily. Caraan is breathing heavily.

Caraan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Caraan won't allow Murcho to pass to mount. Murcho slows the pace down in half guard. Caraan gets back to full guard.
Murcho got a little sloppy there for a moment and Caraan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murcho has managed to get both his arms back between Caraan's legs - danger averted. Murcho slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Murcho is looking to take a break and control but Caraan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Murcho moves nicely into side control. Murcho is trying to land an Americana. Murcho working the ground and pound. Murcho looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Murcho advances to full mount. Murcho looking to secure an arm triangle but Caraan defends it well. Caraan can't escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Murcho controlling the position easily from mount. Murcho working for a guillotine from mount but Caraan is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piroco Murcho dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Murcho drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murcho passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murcho looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Caraan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Murcho keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Caraan actively working from the bottom here. Murcho trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caraan is looking for a sweep. Murcho is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Murcho content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Caraan is defending against the submission attempts here by Murcho.
Murcho passes to side control. Murcho wants to lay and pray for a moment but Caraan keeps working. Murcho remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caraan is not content to let Murcho control the position.

Caraan is looking to regain half guard here but Murcho keeps moving and retains side control. Murcho is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Caraan has escaped the position, nice work there. Murcho just content to control the position. Murcho has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murcho sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Murcho working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Caraan looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Murcho! Submission of the night perhaps?
