Candy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: zZzz. John Candy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taai throws a lazy uppercut
and Candy counters with a crisp right hand that drops Taai! Candy lets Taai back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Taai Taai has been cut.
Taai looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Candy is fending him off so far but Taai persists. Nope, Candy circles away and we're back to standing.
Candy misses with a right hand
and Taai counters with a nice leg kick.
Candy throws a combination that misses
and Taai counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters circling - Candy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Candy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Taai tries to bum rush Candy with a series of wild strikes but Candy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Taai throws a solid leg kick but Candy takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Taai.
Candy throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Taai colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Candy as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Taai is left battered and dazed whilst Candy and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Candy!
