The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramis misses with an uppercut
and Niinivaara counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Niinivaara misses the body punch
and Ramis counters with a low kick, right behind Niinivaara 's knee.
A clash of legs there as Niinivaara blocks the low kick.
Ramis misses with a low kick.
Niinivaara misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ramis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Niinivaara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ramis manages to avoid it.
Ramis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Niinivaara counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ramis thinking.
Ramis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Niinivaara counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Ramis throws a hook but Niinivaara blocks it.

and Ramis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A low kick from Ramis is predictable there
and Niinivaara counters with a slapping leg kick.
Ramis throws a poor cross that misses
and Niinivaara counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ramis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Ramis manages to break the clinch.
Ramis throws a head kick but Niinivaara moves out of range.

Niinivaara tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cain Ramis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Niinivaara falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ramis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ramis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ramis misses with a kick to the body.

Niinivaara darts in trying to clinch
and Ramis counters with an outside leg kick.
Niinivaara is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ramis rather than just go for the knockout.

and Niinivaara counters with a stiff right hand.
Niinivaara takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Niinivaara misses with a lunging right hand
and Ramis makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ramis.
Ramis throws out a loose jab but Niinivaara uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ramis swings away with a body shot that misses
and Niinivaara counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ramis misses the jab.
Ramis throws a left and a right that both miss
and Niinivaara makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ramis, as that shot connected.
Niinivaara has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ramis finds it's way round the side to connect with Niinivaara's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ramis scores with a sloppy right hand. Niinivaara should have avoided that one.
Niinivaara blocks a leg kick.
Ramis scores with a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Niinivaara misses with a shot to the body
and Ramis counters with a head kick that wobbles Niinivaara - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Ramis sends him down. This one is all over!
