Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zenon Styper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Octo Pus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Octo Pus is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zenon Styper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Octo Pus! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Styper wants to clinch. Styper looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Styper drops Pus with a beautiful combination! Pus stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Styper is looking for the KO!
Pus is rocked!
It looks like Octo Pus has been cut. Pus fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Styper tries to close the distance and clinch but Pus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Styper misses with a two punch combination.
Styper throws a right and a left that Pus avoids nicely. No joy there for Styper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Styper gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Pus wants to control from the top but Styper keeps moving. Pus wants to pass the guard but Styper is keeping the position.

Pus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Styper works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Pus is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Pus not landing any meaningful shots this time. Styper keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Styper blocking the ground and pound attempt from Pus. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pus winds up and cracks Styper with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Pus missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Octo Pus dominated that round. The cut man is working on Octo Pus's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pus lands in his opponent's guard. Pus trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Styper avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pus wants to control from the top but Styper keeps moving. Pus throwing strikes but missing. Pus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Styper is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Pus lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pus's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Pus working some strikes from top position. Pus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Styper avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pus throwing strikes from guard but Styper blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pus lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Pus stands and throws Styper's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pus working the ground and pound from side control. Styper takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Pus works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Styper is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Styper knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Styper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pus on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Pus working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Styper's guard. Pus landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pus connects with a nice short shot to Styper's temple. Pus lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Pus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Pus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Styper with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Styper avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pus. Octo Pus is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pus shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Styper napping and manages to drive through into side control! You can see the frustration on Styper's face as Pus controls the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Octo Pus hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Pus scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Pus is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Styper's shoulder. That is not cool. Zenon Styper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Octo Pus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Pus winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
