The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bistriy tries to clinch up
and Da Souza counters with a stiff right hand.
Rezkiy Bistriy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bistriy wants to clinch but Da Souza slips to the side
and Da Souza counters with a nice uppercut.
Bistriy moves to clinch but Da Souza breaks away
and Da Souza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bistriy tries to clinch
enabling Da Souza to counter with a crisp jab.
Bistriy darts in trying to clinch
and Da Souza connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bistriy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Da Souza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bistriy wants to stand and escape but Da Souza is having none of it.
Da Souza drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Da Souza as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bistriy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Da Souza! Nice submission victory there!
