Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Noriaki Ueyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ueyama comes into the arena with Whispered - Blindfold blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noriaki Ueyama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Benny Allen!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueyama takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Allen shoots in looking for a takedown but Ueyama manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Allen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ueyama's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Allen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ueyama scrambles back to his feet.
Allen throws an off balance right hand
and Ueyama connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Allen clinches up against the cage.
Allen blocks the elbow strike.
Allen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ueyama breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen misses with a body shot
and Allen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Allen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Allen throws a hook but Ueyama blocks it.
Allen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ueyama at a distance.
Allen throws a sloppy body shot
letting Ueyama counter with a right hand.
Allen swings widly with a right hand
and Ueyama counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Allen has a takedown stuffed.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ueyama. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Allen throws a body punch but Ueyama moves out of range.
Benny Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the body from Allen misses
and Ueyama counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ueyama just misses with a elbow thrown towards Allen's brow.
Ueyama breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Allen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ueyama counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ueyama throws a sloppy head kick and Allen moves out of range easily.
Allen moves out of range as Ueyama throws a body kick.
Ueyama misses with a double jab
and Allen counters with a left to the body.
Allen with a nice cross.
Allen throws a hook to the side of Ueyama's head but Ueyama sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Allen misses with a double jab
and Ueyama counters with a head kick. That will keep Allen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Ueyama takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Allen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ueyama throws a sloppy head kick and Allen moves out of range easily.
Allen tries for a takedown but Ueyama circles away easily
and Ueyama counters with a single leg into guard. Allen didn't expect that.
Noriaki Ueyama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Allen.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ueyama postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ueyama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Allen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Allen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Allen trying to keep a closed guard but Ueyama is proving a slippery customer.
Ueyama would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ueyama is posturing up here but Allen has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ueyama tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ueyama has to tap! Slick submission there by Allen!
