Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Relson Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Relson Ribeiro is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eduardo Yamamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Relson Ribeiro! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ribeiro on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Ribeiro looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yamamoto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yamamoto moves in looking to clinch but Ribeiro pushes him off. Yamamoto closes the distance and clinches. Yamamoto lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Relson Ribeiro has been cut. Yamamoto has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ribeiro uses from the top position. Ribeiro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yamamoto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ribeiro has managed to get both his arms back between Yamamoto's legs - danger averted. Yamamoto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ribeiro is one step ahead there. Yamamoto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ribeiro is controlling him. Yamamoto not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ribeiro looking to pass the guard. Yamamoto striking off his back but it's not causing Ribeiro any problems.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamamoto is looking to stand up but Ribeiro isn't so interested in that idea. Ribeiro throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ribeiro throwing strikes from guard but Yamamoto blocks nicely. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Ribeiro stops Yamamoto from standing up. Yamamoto preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Yamamoto tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ribeiro stands and steps away. Yamamoto gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. A combination from Yamamoto does no damage. Yamamoto shoots in for a takedown but Ribeiro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Eduardo Yamamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Ribeiro as Yamamoto shoots in. Ribeiro tries to land a front kick but Yamamoto steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ribeiro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yamamoto sprawls well initially but Ribeiro persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ribeiro is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Yamamoto is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
