Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Bridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwayne Keller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Bridge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwayne Keller!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridge dodges the punch combination from Keller.

Bridge drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bridge sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Keller's guard.

Keller has one foot on Bridge's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Bridge steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Keller.
Bridge tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bridge closes the distance and clinches.
Bridge keeps control of Keller as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Keller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bridge.
Bridge jumps guard but Keller stands there with Bridge around his waist. Bridge gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Keller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Keller circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bridge darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bridge stops Keller from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Keller kicks off Bridge and gets to his feet.
Bridge throws a right and a left that Keller avoids nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Keller as Bridge shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Bridge. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bridge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Keller but Keller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bridge shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Keller as he jumps to the side.
Bridge looks to land a combination but Keller avoids it well.
Keller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bridge counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Keller's guard now.

Keller is looking to stand up but Bridge isn't so interested in that idea.

Bridge postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Keller is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bridge, into his guard.
Bridge is breathing heavily.

Bridge has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Keller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bridge.
Bridge is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Keller stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Bridge is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Keller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bridge counters by clinching up.

Bridge breaks from the clinch.
Keller tries a head kick but it misses.

Bridge feints and as Keller raises his hands in defense, Bridge changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Keller has his feet on Bridge's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Keller misses with an uppercut.
Keller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bridge holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A shot in the inside from Bridge.
Keller has had enough of the clinch but Bridge keeps him there for the moment.
Keller can't break the clinch.
Bridge tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Keller just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bridge tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Keller smiles and moves away.
Keller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Bridge counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Keller wants to stand up but Bridge is controlling him.

Keller uses the cage to get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Keller misses with a head kick.
Keller tries a head kick but it misses.
Dwayne Keller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Keller throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dwayne Keller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keller cracks Bridge with an open hand slap.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Keller closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like John Bridge has been cut.
Keller looks to land a combination but Bridge avoids it well.
Keller throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Keller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that John Bridge will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Keller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bridge misses with a takedown attempt - Keller sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Keller throws a series of punches but Bridge avoids them all with ease.
Keller lands a nice shot to the body.
Bridge is looking to clinch but Keller is avoiding it.

Bridge moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bridge has him pressed against the cage.

Keller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bridge wants to sweep but no luck.

Bridge bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Keller's guard.
Bridge stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Keller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Keller wants to get back to his feet but Bridge is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bridge working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Keller pushes Bridge off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Keller misses with the combination.
Keller goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Bridge throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Keller counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bridge is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Keller throws a series of punches but Bridge avoids them all with ease.
John Bridge is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Keller misses with a combination

and Bridge counters with a takedown into side control.

Bridge working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Keller is trying to buck Bridge off.

Bridge swings around for an armbar but Keller sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bridge's guard.

Bridge is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bridge throws his legs up looking for a submission but Keller uses it to pass to side control.

Keller stands up and beckons Bridge to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Keller counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Bridge!

Dwayne Keller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Keller counters with a left and a right that hurts Bridge! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Keller jumps into full mount!
Oh Bridge is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Keller thows a body kick. Bridge tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Bridge seems to have got his legs back now.
Dwayne Keller seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Keller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

John Bridge's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bridge avoids a punch combination nicely.

Keller lands a head kick that stumbles Bridge and the fighters go to the mat.

Bridge isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Keller stacks Bridge on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Keller!

Bridge is looking to clinch but Keller is avoiding it.
Keller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bridge working for a triangle but Keller defends it easily.
Bridge is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Keller gets to his feet. Bridge looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

I think Keller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
