Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haddith Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bob Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Haddith Stewart! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart tries for a takedown but Bear circles away easily and Bear cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stewart gets caught flat footed, as Bear shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Stewart wants to get back to his feet but Bear is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bear wants to control from the top but Stewart keeps moving. Bear won't allow Stewart to get back to his feet. Bear stays in close to Stewart's body and controls the position. Bear in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bear sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Bob Bear just wasn't active enough. Stewart gets caught flat footed, as Bear shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Stewart wants to get back to his feet but Bear is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bear is stalling in the full guard. Bear stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stewart swivels though and keeps the full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bear wants to control from the top but Stewart keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Bob Bear wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Bear shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stewart napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bear takes a little break here. Stewart wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Stewart is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stewart looks gassed! Bear tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bear thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bear looks up at the clock and then as Stewart takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bear smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bear in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Bear is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stewart knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Stewart dodges the ground and pound from Bear.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear is trying to get an arm triangle but Stewart is defending well. Bear landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bear working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bear is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stewart looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bear gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stewart is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bear lets go of the hold and Stewart can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bob Bear!
