Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Jovanovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiwahiwa Kahale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jovanovski might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Anastasija - Pass Over. Daniel Jovanovski has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jovanovski has managed to clinch.

Jovanovski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jovanovski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kahale, pushing him back against the cage.
Kahale fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kahale has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jovanovski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kahale is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Jovanovski.

Jovanovski has hold of one of Kahale's legs. Kahale is fighting the takedown attempt but Jovanovski gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Kahale goes for a takedown attempt but Jovanovski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kahale tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kahale jumps guard but Jovanovski stands there with Kahale around his waist. Kahale gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jovanovski presses Kahale against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Jovanovski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kahale is trying to push Jovanovski away but Jovanovski has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jovanovski will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kahale up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jovanovski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kahale swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kahale escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jovanovski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jovanovski has the hooks in. Kahale is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Kahale is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Jovanovski is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
What can Kahale do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Jovanovski is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Kahale with him. Kahale is trying to defend but Jovanovski has an arm under the chin now! Kahale grimaces and is forced to tap out!
