The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jamison manages to avoid it.
Jamison takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
White misses with a right hand
enabling Jamison to counter with a crisp jab.

Jamison throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. White tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jamison is in White's guard.
Jamison is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
White preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
White can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jamison controls the pace.
White controls Jamison momentarily but Jamison frees himself.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and White counters with a lovely straight right hand!
White keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
White circles away from the clinch attempt.
White feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jamison's calf.
White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jamison.

Jamison is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But White has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from White!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
White wants to pass the guard but Jamison is keeping the position.
Jamison looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kurt Jamison.
White stuffs the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kurt Jamison will probably get the nod.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kurt Jamison just wasn't active enough.

and White makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
White scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jamison doesn't seem bothered though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

White thuds his right hand into Jamison's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Art White seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Jamison rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and White counters with a low kick, right behind Jamison 's knee.
Jamison has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jamison there as he acknowledges the shot.

White digs a good body shot into Jamison's ribs.
White fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
White lands with a thumping leg kick.
White connects with an inside leg kick.
White catches Jamison with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jamison needs to keep his hands up - White had a free shot at his head there.

Jamison is rocked!
Look low, kick high! White uses the oldest trick in the book to send Jamison tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! White is absolutely delighted - when Jamison wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
