Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Nogame! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Cameron! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nogame tries for a takedown but Cameron circles away easily and Nogame takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cameron rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nogame moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nogame misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cameron.
Nogame shoots for a double leg takedown but Cameron sprawls well. He's pushed Nogame's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nogame tries to clinch but Cameron is having none of it. Nogame tries for a takedown but Cameron circles away easily and Cameron counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Nogame. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nogame is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Cameron thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nogame wants to get back to his feet.
Cameron throws a strike but Nogame avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Nogame is pulling down on Cameron's head. It's preventing any offense from Cameron, at least for the moment. Nogame on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nogame tries to get out of the position. Cameron working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cameron stands up over Nogame, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cameron thows a big elbow that misses. Nogame has his hands on Cameron's head, controlling the position. Nogame manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cameron manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nogame throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cameron works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cameron keeping full guard, as Nogame tries to pass. Nogame looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Cameron looks gassed! Cameron wants to stand and escape but Nogame is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up because John Nogame just wasn't active enough. Cameron stuffs the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Nogame looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Left hook, right uppercut from Cameron. Cameron misses with a head kick.
Nogame fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cameron avoids it really well and circles away. Nogame fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cameron defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nogame. Cameron throws a right and a left that Nogame avoids nicely. Nogame tries to clinch up and Cameron counters with a three punch combo that has Nogame backing up. Nogame nods at Cameron to acknowledge the strikes. Nogame with a lazy takedown attempt and Cameron counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Cameron fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Nogame with a poor takedown and Cameron counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nogame wants to clinch and Cameron counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Nogame throws a good cross that connects.
Cameron will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nogame takes a kick to the side of the head. Nogame with a lazy takedown attempt and Cameron counters with a good, hard body kick but Nogame shrugs it off. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nogame takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nogame with a poor takedown and Cameron counters with a stiff right hand. Nogame throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cameron tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nogame is in Cameron's guard. Nogame drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cameron manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nogame has Cameron in his guard. Nogame kicks Cameron off and gets to his feet. Peter Cameron is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Good exchange - Cameron coming out on top. Nogame lands a left and a right that send Cameron crashing to the mat, dazed. Nogame thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cameron is rocked! Peter Cameron seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nogame dives in and grabs Cameron's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cameron pushes down on Nogame's head and hops out. Nogame avoids the head kick by Cameron.
Cameron throws a right hand that Nogame ducks under and follows up with a left that Nogame also avoids with ease. Cameron misses with a combination
and Nogame counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cameron! Nogame controlling the pace for now. Cameron has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nogame working Cameron over with strikes here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nogame is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cameron can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Nogame feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cameron preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Nogame controlling from the guard. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John Nogame. Nogame shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cameron is trying to defend but Nogame finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Nogame lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Nogame controlling the action here. Nogame working Cameron over with strikes.

Nogame slips a nice elbow through Cameron's hands, connecting with Cameron's forehead. Nogame with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

We're going to have a standup here because John Nogame wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Nogame misses with a takedown attempt - Cameron sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nogame closes the distance and clinches up with Cameron, looking for a takedown. Nogame pushes Cameron against the cage but Cameron circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nogame tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cameron sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nogame somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Nogame. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nogame.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nogame fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A head kick misses from Cameron. Nogame changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cameron tries to avoid it but Nogame manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cameron to the ground. Cameron escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nogame misses with a takedown attempt and Cameron counters with a good low kick that Nogame was not able to check.
And that's the end of the fight! John Nogame showed his dominance in that final round. I think Nogame has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
