4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lothario De Luca! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One shoots and misses and De Luca counters with a stiff right hand. One drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. One has his takedown stuffed and De Luca counters with a takedown into side control. One struggling a bit here. One is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on De Luca's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. One is trying to maintain the position but De Luca is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Daniel One just wasn't active enough. One has his takedown stuffed and De Luca counters into the clinch. Nicely done. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. One with a lazy takedown attempt and De Luca counters with a lovely straight right hand! One misses with a takedown attempt and De Luca counters with a right hand to the body. One fails with the takedown and De Luca counters into the clinch. Nicely done. De Luca's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. De Luca rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but One moves out of range and avoids them all easily. One has his takedown stuffed and De Luca counters with a nice double leg into side control. One won't be happy with that. De Luca stands up. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. One is looking to take a break and control but De Luca is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. De Luca wants to improve his position but One is controlling well.
One not landing any meaningful shots this time. De Luca really doesn't want to stay on the ground with One. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

De Luca is refusing to be controlled, as One sits in half guard. One tries to pass the half guard into mount. De Luca knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lothario De Luca showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. De Luca comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. De Luca misses with an elbow strike.

Daniel One has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lothario De Luca is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. One escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De Luca gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that's the end of the fight! Lothario De Luca comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well De Luca has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
