Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ibi Dikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgios Finlitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dikki comes into the arena with blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finlitis fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Finlitis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Finlitis.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Finlitis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dikki swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Finlitis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dikki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Finlitis counters with a three punch combo that has Dikki backing up. Dikki nods at Finlitis to acknowledge the strikes.

Finlitis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Dikki drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Finlitis dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dikki is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Finlitis defends well.
Finlitis wants to get up but he can't break Dikki's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

and Dikki counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dikki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dikki wants to control from the top but Finlitis keeps moving.
Finlitis wants to stand but Dikki is controlling the position.

Dikki throws and elbow that misses. Finlitis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dikki's guard. Nice move by Finlitis!
Ibi Dikki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Finlitis wanted to stand there but Dikki had control of the position.
Finlitis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dikki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Finlitis has managed to get both his arms back between Dikki's legs - danger averted.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dikki is working an open guard so Finlitis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Finlitis tries to clinch there but Dikki circles away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ibi Dikki.
I think Finlitis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
