PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doc Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Hargh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder. Hargh is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dominant view. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hargh .
Thomas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hargh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Thomas misses with a lunging right hand
and Hargh counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Thomas!
Thomas has left one of his arms exposed and Hargh doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Thomas screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ken Hargh !
