Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoel Romero Palacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Core comes to the cage accompanied by Emicida - Triunfo. Palacio has chosen Pride as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruno Core!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoel Romero Palacio!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palacio takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Palacio looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Core fails with a takedown attempt.
Core moves into the clinch successfully.
A knee to the head by Core.
Core pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Core pushes Palacio off and scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Core with a poor takedown
and Palacio counters with a nice uppercut.
Core shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruno Core. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Palacio slips a jab and a cross from Core.
No luck for Core with that takedown attempt.
Core drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Core stands up and waves to Palacio to follow him.
Core looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Core lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Core decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Core closes the distance and pushes Palacio back into the cage.
Core ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Core no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Palacio has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Core to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Palacio is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Core pulls down on the head and he's put Palacio to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bruno Core!
