Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zap Rowsdower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rowsdower.

Rogers throws a looping overhand right but Rowsdower ducks down to avoid it.

Rowsdower looks for a takedown but Rogers sprawls well.
Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rowsdower swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rowsdower fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rogers sprawls well initially but Rowsdower persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rowsdower tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rogers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Rowsdower seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rogers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rowsdower tries to score with some ground and pound. Rogers controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rogers is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rowsdower connects with a decent elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rowsdower postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Rogers out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Rowsdower goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
