Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Si Liha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and aapje grrrr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). grrrr is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: soulja boy travis barker. aapje grrrr told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
grrrr avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Liha wants to clinch up but grrrr keeps it at a distance.
Liha moves into the clinch.
A body shot lands from grrrr.
Liha breaks from the clinch.
Liha rushes grrrr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
grrrr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Liha is trying to break the clinch but grrrr has him pressed against the cage.
Liha tries to work over grrrr's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
grrrr on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
grrrr is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Liha pulls him back up using the underhooks.
grrrr has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Liha uses from the top position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
grrrr moves into the clinch successfully.

grrrr tries to free his leg and advance position but Liha is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as grrrr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
grrrr drives through and clinches with Liha against the cage.
Liha manages to break the clinch.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from grrrr lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Liha has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Liha and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Liha throws a combination but it was largely blocked by grrrr.
grrrr shoots for a takedown but Liha saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Liha closes the distance and clinches up with grrrr, looking for a takedown. Liha pushes grrrr against the cage but grrrr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A big head kick from grrrr and Liha is sent sprawling to the canvas!

grrrr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

grrrr takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
grrrr is working for a submission of some sort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
grrrr tries to pass the half guard into mount. Liha knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
aapje grrrr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Liha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

aapje grrrr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well grrrr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
