Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Glazkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glazkov comes to the cage accompanied by Crosshairs. Marcus Maximus looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dimitri Glazkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Maximus! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glazkov fails to land the takedown. Maximus looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Glazkov shoots in and bounces Maximus off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Glazkov trying to control the position from guard on top but Maximus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Glazkov throws a big right hand that misses. Glazkov pushing down on Maximus's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Glazkov uses his free foot to push down on Maximus's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Maximus. Glazkov unloads with some shots from mount but Maximus bucks and avoids them well.
Glazkov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Maximus manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glazkov tries for a kimura but Maximus is defending well. Glazkov tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Maximus parries the strikes from Glazkov easily there. Glazkov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Maximus to escape.
Glazkov in side control, throwing shots but Maximus defends. Maximus regains half guard there - taking advantage of Glazkov's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Glazkov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Glazkov is keen to just control but Maximus is a slippery customer. Glazkov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Glazkov wants to pass to mount but Maximus is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Glazkov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Glazkov lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Glazkov passes into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maximus can do anything to dispel that myth. Glazkov seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maximus is trying to maintain the position but Glazkov is very close to passing his half guard. Glazkov wants to work for an arm triangle but Maximus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Maximus works his way to full guard. Good work. Glazkov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maximus swivels though and keeps the full guard. Glazkov looking to sit in guard and control but Maximus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Glazkov trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Glazkov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Glazkov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Glazkov tries to control but Maximus wriggling away. Maximus is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dimitri Glazkov dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Glazkov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Maximus is refusing to be controlled, as Glazkov sits in half guard. Maximus wants to improve his position but Glazkov is controlling well.
Glazkov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glazkov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maximus keeps working. Glazkov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Maximus's head. Maximus is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glazkov is keen to just control but Maximus is a slippery customer. Glazkov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Maximus! Maximus is trying to escape the mount.
Glazkov has control of Maximus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Maximus regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Glazkov thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Maximus prevents Glazkov from taking his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Maximus regains half guard. Glazkov is keen to just control but Maximus is a slippery customer. Glazkov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Maximus is looking to get back to full guard here but Glazkov has managed to pass to side control instead. Glazkov has hold of Maximus's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Maximus manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glazkov controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glazkov throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Maximus has his hands clasped together but Glazkov breaks the hold and Maximus is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Glazkov!
