Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Monzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Capoeira Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monzon comes to the cage accompanied by gangsta. Oliveira has chosen White Ring - Roses as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira circles away from the clinch attempt
and Oliveira counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Stephen Monzon has been cut.
Monzon wants to clinch but Oliveira slips to the side
and Monzon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Monzon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oliveira swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Monzon moves into range and clinches up with Oliveira.
Oliveira can't break the clinch.
Monzon lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Oliveira is trying to break the clinch but Monzon is controlling him.
Monzon missing with knees to the body.
A body shot lands from Monzon.
Monzon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice sprawl there from Oliveira as Monzon shoots in.
A head kick misses from Monzon.
Oliveira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Monzon circles away quickly and effectively.
Monzon shoots in for a takedown but Oliveira shows good takedown defense.
Monzon has a takedown stuffed.

Monzon throws a sloppy head kick
and Oliveira counters with a big head kick but Monzon shrugs it off.
Oliveira lands a head kick!
Monzon gets a clinch.
Monzon fails to pull guard.
Monzon dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Monzon goes for a takedown in the clinch but Oliveira prevents it.
Monzon is breathing heavily.
Monzon effectively controlling the action here.
Monzon tries for a takedown. No joy.
Monzon is trying to force a seperation but Oliveira has the dominant position.
Oliveira is trying to break the clinch but Monzon is controlling him.
Oliveira unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Monzon takes a knee right on the jaw!
Oliveira is pressed up against the cage. Monzon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Oliveira down to the mat. Oliveira avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Oliveira thuds his shin into the meat of Monzon's side.
Oliveira throws a head kick that Monzon semi-blocks.
Monzon is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oliveira connects with a superb combination that knocks Monzon out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Oliveira before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Monzon!
