Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between King Justus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alek Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justus comes to the cage accompanied by Villain. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alek Mitchell!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justus wants to clinch but Mitchell slips to the side
and Mitchell counters with a stiff right hand.
Mitchell throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Justus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mitchell misses with a lunging right hand
and Justus counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Justus tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Mitchell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Justus won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Justus wants to control but Mitchell postures up.
Justus tries to improve position but can't.

Mitchell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Justus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mitchell swings around for an armbar but Justus sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mitchell's guard.
Justus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mitchell is keeping the position for now.
Justus trying to control the position from guard on top but Mitchell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Justus has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mitchell to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Justus is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mitchell pulls down on the head and he's put Justus to sleep! This one is all over!
