Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Chinatown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Born To Win. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chinatown's choice of entrance music: Cocaine in my brain - Dillinger. Charlie Chinatown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Charlie Chinatown! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chinatown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Chinatown sitting and controlling from the half guard. Chinatown wants to pass the guard but Gracie is defending well. Gracie is looking to escape. Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie. Gracie kicks Chinatown off and gets to his feet. Chinatown throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chinatown sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chinatown is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gracie's half guard. Chinatown stops Gracie from getting back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Chinatown stops Gracie from standing up. Chinatown stands up over Gracie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Chinatown scoring with some ground and pound. Chinatown looking to pass the guard. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Chinatown sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gracie's guard. Chinatown slows the pace down in half guard. Gracie is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie trying to control here.
Chinatown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Charlie Chinatown wasn't active enough on the ground. Chinatown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Chinatown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chinatown controls the pace. Chinatown trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Chinatown looks gassed! Chinatown stops Gracie from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinatown pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chinatown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gracie looking for a guillotine here but Chinatown defends easily.

Chinatown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Chinatown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chinatown has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chinatown looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gracie working for a triangle but Chinatown defends it easily.
Chinatown is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Chinatown has managed to sneak the leg through. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Chinatown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gracie looking for submissions off his back. Chinatown lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Chinatown dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Chinatown moves out of range of the strikes. Chinatown avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chinatown shoots in and gets a takedown into Gracie's guard. Chinatown is stalling in the full guard. Gracie is adopting a defensive guard. Chinatown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chinatown trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie keeping full guard, as Chinatown tries to pass. Gracie wants to stand up but Chinatown is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Chinatown from controlling successfully. Chinatown makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Chinatown keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gracie's head. Chinatown controlling from the top position. Gracie is looking to stand up but Chinatown isn't so interested in that idea. Gracie wriggles free and stands up. Gracie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chinatown with a nice head shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chinatown forces his way into half guard. Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chinatown is working away from the top position though. Chinatown not doing much here.
Gracie wants to stand back up but Chinatown manages to pass into side control.
Chinatown works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Gracie rolls, trying to escape but Chinatown keeps control of the position.
What can Gracie do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Chinatown doesn't have the hooks in and Gracie manages to turn into his guard.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chinatown swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gracie wants to get up but he can't break Chinatown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Chinatown manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Gracie just misses with a punch to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Chinatown. Chinatown takes a little break here. Gracie wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Gracie tries to buck Chinatown off but Chinatown is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie struggling a bit here. Chinatown prevents Gracie from escaping the position. Chinatown taking a breather here. Gracie is looking to reverse the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Chinatown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Chinatown fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Chinatown persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Chinatown wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy. Chinatown trying to pass the guard but Gracie defending well. Gracie wants to get back to his feet.

Chinatown tries to pass to full mount but Gracie defends it. Gracie tries to get to full guard but Chinatown has control of the leg. Chinatown sitting and controlling from the half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gracie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie wants to stand up but Chinatown is controlling him. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Chinatown dives on top into guard. Chinatown wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gracie throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Chinatown controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chinatown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Chinatown looking to pass the guard. Chinatown trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chinatown won't allow Gracie to get back to his feet. Chinatown stays in close to Gracie's body and controls the position. Gracie manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Chinatown counters with a shoot takedown. Gracie fights it but they end up in guard. Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chinatown manages to get himself to full guard.
Gracie wants to stand and escape but instead Chinatown has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Gracie working for a triangle but Chinatown defends it easily.
Chinatown scoring with punches to the head and body. Chinatown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to stand up but Chinatown is controlling him. Ryan Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chinatown's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Gracie wants to get back to his feet but Chinatown is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Chinatown is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Charlie Chinatown is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Chinatown forces his way into half guard. Gracie avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chinatown. Gracie is not content to let Chinatown control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Charlie Chinatown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chinatown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
