Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between I Shiv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Shelter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shiv might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Let's Fighting Love. Shelter is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Boom! Shake The Room. Anderson Shelter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Shiv fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Shelter is out of range.
Shelter throws a low kick but Shiv moves out of range easily.
Shiv stuffs the takedown.
Shelter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shiv. That did some damage!
Shelter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Shiv throws the kick towards the body but Shelter avoids it.
Shelter shoots in looking for a takedown but Shiv manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shelter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shiv lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shiv. Shelter does a little dance to reset his feet.

I Shiv has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Shelter.

Shelter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Shelter crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shiv - the referee stops the clock and Shelter gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shiv. Shelter manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Shiv fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shelter manages to avoid it.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Shelter might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Shiv has got the better of the exchanges.
