The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akumi dives in and grabs Dickface's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dickface pushes down on Akumi's head and hops out.
Akumi blocks a jab.
Akumi throws out a loose jab but Dickface uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dickface throws a shot from downtown. Akumi moves away and avoids it.
Dickface throws a hook but Akumi blocks it.
Good work by Dickface as he checks the leg kick.
Akumi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Akumi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dickface counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Akumi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dickface counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Akumi throws a combination that misses
and Dickface counters with a stiff right hand.
Akumi fails with the takedown.
Akumi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dickface sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yusuf Akumi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
