The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seabaugh looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Seabaugh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Eccleston wants to get back to his feet.
Eccleston works his way to full guard. Good work. Eccleston looking for a guillotine here but Seabaugh defends easily.
Seabaugh wanted to stand there but Eccleston had control of the position. Eccleston controls Seabaugh momentarily but Seabaugh frees himself. Eccleston is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Seabaugh is looking to stand up but Eccleston won't let him.

Ryan Eccleston has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Seabaugh shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Eccleston is trying to defend but Seabaugh finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Seabaugh looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Eccleston is trying to maintain the position but Seabaugh is very close to passing his half guard. Eccleston tries to get to full guard but Seabaugh has control of the leg. Seabaugh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are battling for position here. Eccleston manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Eccleston has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Seabaugh has passed into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eccleston is looking for a sweep. Seabaugh throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. You can see the frustration on Eccleston's face as Seabaugh controls the position. Eccleston manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Seabaugh wants to stand up but Eccleston is controlling the position.

Seabaugh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
