Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Hook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hook lands with a hook. Bang tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hook throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

letting Bang counter with a right hand.

Bang tries to bum rush Hook with a series of wild strikes but Hook uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hook misses with a two punch combination.
Hook throws the left hand but Bang avoids the punch easily.

Bang throws a front kick aimed at Hook's knee but Hook avoids it well.
Hook tries to clinch up
and Bang counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bang.
Bang lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hook or not.

Hook lands a hook that snaps the head of Bang backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bang looks to throw an elbow but misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bang avoids a wild elbow strike from Hook.
Bang looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bang wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hook fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bang lands with a short head shot on the inside.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Bang Bang's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hook crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bang - the referee stops the clock and Hook gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bang. Hook manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Bang dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bang swings for the body but Hook moves out of range.
Hook keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hook closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Hook takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bang connects with a right that clearly hurt Hook. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Bang proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Hook collapses and taps out under the pressure!
