Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Perrin Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Piggly Wiggly. Kent comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In The Morning-Ross Raiden & the RC kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perrin Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clark Kent! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kent misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Kent. Jones tried to score with a low kick but Kent checks it. Kent darts in trying to clinch and Jones counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Kent swings and misses with a shot to the body and Jones counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kent's knee momentarily. Kent misses with a hook
and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kent thinking. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kent misses with a takedown attempt enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab. Kent is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kent displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab. Kent throws a poor cross that misses
and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kent thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones scores with a leg kick.
Kent closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage. Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kent has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Still in the clinch, Jones scores with a nice short uppercut. Kent takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Clark Kent has been cut. Kent is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kent down to the mat. Kent avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Clark Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kent looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jones! Kent has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jones is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kent looking for a guillotine from mount but Jones is having none of it. Kent tries to control but Jones wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Jones is looking to control Kent's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted? Jones wants to get back to full guard. Jones gets back to full guard.
Kent won't allow Jones to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones trying to control the position.
Kent has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kent's guard. Kent throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to control from the top but Kent keeps moving. Kent is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones trying to control but Kent is working from the bottom. Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jones wants to control from the top but Kent keeps moving. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones slips nicely into half guard. Kent is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jones is keen to just control but Kent is a slippery customer. Kent is looking to improve his position.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Kent is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kent tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg. Kent looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kent is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Perrin Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on Clark Kent's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jones finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kent tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Kent. Kent moves out of range as Jones throws a body kick.
Kent forces Jones back against the cage and clinches. Jones trying to control the position but instead, Kent has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jones into the cage. Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kent throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kent misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jones counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kent lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Kent lands with a left to the head. Jones blocking some punches.
Kent lands a shot to the body. Kent works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but Kent gets an underhook and turns Jones into the cage. Kent misses with the head strike.
Kent is leaning against Jones and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Kent lands a body shot. Kent pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kent throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Kent tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. A shot to the liver by Kent. Beautiful body shot. Kent connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Kent connects with a body shot. Kent is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jones rather than just go for the knockout. Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kent moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Kent tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.

Kent wants to pass the guard but Jones is defending well. Kent seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jones slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Jones has his foot on Kent's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kent works his way back into a safe position though. Clark Kent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Clark Kent's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Jones moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Kent sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kent tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Kent moves out of range easily. Jones with a lazy takedown attempt and Kent counters with a nice uppercut. Kent gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kent takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kent gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch. Kent lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jones. Jones throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kents head. Kent lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Jones counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kent's knee momentarily. Kent works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination. Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jones is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A shot to the body from Kent misses and Jones counters with a nice uppercut. Perrin Jones is winning the standup battle so far. Kent misses with a lunging right hand
and Jones counters with a straight right hand. Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kent circles away quickly and effectively. Kent throws a sloppy body shot
and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jones moves in looking to clinch but Kent pushes him off. Kent throws a predictable looking body shot

and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones. Jones works over Kent with some ground and pound from guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jones looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kent swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jones postures up.

Jones taking a break here but Kent is having none of it and regains half guard. Jones trying to control the pace. Kent looking for subs from the bottom but Jones mounts him! Kent regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jones wants to control but Kent is keeping him busy. Jones is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kent is looking to improve his position.
Jones is taking a breather. Kent says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kent on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jones thows a huge punch but Kent dodges it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Perrin Jones showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
