Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Khan as Barrows shoots in.

Khan moves in looking to clinch but Barrows pushes him off.

Khan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Barrows's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Barrows's back!
Khan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barrows. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Will Khan go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Khan is trying to stick to Barrows's back but Barrows is turning into Khan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Khan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Barrows.

Barrows got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barrows has managed to get both his arms back between Khan's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Khan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Barrows tries for a takedown but Khan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Barrows tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Khan just stands there and leans against the ropes.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Barrows connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Khan to escape the position.
Barrows lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Khan.
Khan is covering up but some of the strikes from Barrows are getting through and doing damage.

Khan is pressed up against the ropes. Barrows has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khan down to the mat. Khan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Barrows makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Barrows fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Khan avoids it really well and circles away.

Barrows feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Khan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barrows controls the pace.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tom Barrows.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Barrows, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
