Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Cisko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo The Artist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leo The Artist!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Artist closes the distance but Cisko moves to the side
enabling Cisko to counter with a crisp jab.

Cisko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cisko on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cisko tries to get out of the position.

Cisko manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Cisko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and Cisko counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cisko.

Cisko is trying to push The Artist away but The Artist has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

The Artist manages to break the clinch.
Cisko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Artist avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Cisko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The Artist has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cisko is trying to keep an underhook but The Artist manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Cisko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cisko wants it to stay on the feet.

The Artist closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cisko quickly recovers to half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Cisko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Artist leaves Cisko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The Artist tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cisko swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The Artist shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cisko's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Cisko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Leo The Artist hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Cisko is looking to clinch.
Cisko stuffs the takedown attempt from The Artist. The Artist gets slowly back to his feet.
The Artist shoots in looking for a takedown. Cisko tries to sprawl out of it but The Artist keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Cisko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cisko blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Cisko throws an elbow but it misses.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, The Artist just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cisko's brow.

The Artist has Cisko pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. The Artist pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cisko tumbling to the mat - The Artist dives into Cisko's guard.

Leo The Artist showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The Artist looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The Artist manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cisko manages to get himself to full guard.

Cisko is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Artist is aware though and is defending well.
The Artist wants to get up but he can't break Cisko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Cisko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cisko is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The Artist is not content to let Cisko control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The Artist is trying to hold Cisko in close to prevent damage but Cisko has managed to pass into half guard.
Cisko is keen to just control but The Artist is a slippery customer.

Cisko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cisko is looking to take a break and control but The Artist is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Leo The Artist comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got The Artist winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
