Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Misha Padalecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Padalecki comes to the cage accompanied by Money For Nothing. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Padalecki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Larry Holmes has been cut.
Holmes misses with a takedown attempt - Padalecki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Holmes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Padalecki avoids it really well and circles away.
Misha Padalecki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Holmes.
Padalecki lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Holmes at a distance.

and Padalecki counters with a right hand that sends Holmes tumbling to the canvas! Can Padalecki finish him? He dives into Holmes's guard looking to do just that!

Padalecki gets to his feet - Holmes follows without any prompting.

Padalecki throws a right and a left that both miss.
Padalecki throws a nice looking combination but Holmes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Holmes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Holmes is looking to work some ground and pound but Padalecki has wrist control.

Holmes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Padalecki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Holmes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Padalecki is looking to wear down Holmes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Holmes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Padalecki drops Holmes with a right and a left! Padalecki comes rushing in but Holmes regains his composure and manages to keep Padalecki in guard.

That has opened up Larry Holmes's cut even more.

Padalecki is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Padalecki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Holmes on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Padalecki scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Holmes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Padalecki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holmes moves away.

Padalecki waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Holmes. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Holmes to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Padalecki cracks Holmes on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Holmes falls backwards against the cage. Padalecki follows up with more strikes that drop Holmes to his knees. Padalecki keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Holmes! This one is all over!
