Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Athan Stamatis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Osbourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Osbourne was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osbourne falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stamatis counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like John Osbourne has been cut.
A combination from Stamatis does no damage.
Stamatis throws a looping overhand right but Osbourne ducks down to avoid it.
Osbourne wants to clinch but Stamatis slips to the side
and Stamatis counters with a nice body shot.
Osbourne throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stamatis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Osbourne looks gassed!
Stamatis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Stamatis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That has opened up John Osbourne's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stamatis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stamatis loads up on a big right hand but Osbourne slips the punch.
Stamatis misses with a double jab.
Osbourne avoids the body shot from Stamatis.
Osbourne closes the distance but Stamatis moves to the side
and Stamatis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Osbourne slips a straight right by Stamatis.
Osbourne on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
John Osbourne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No joy there for Stamatis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Osbourne takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

John Osbourne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stamatis lands with a good body shot.
