Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keller Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and New Yorker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). New Yorker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keller Rock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, New Yorker! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock drives through with a takedown into guard. Rock slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rock knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yorker on the ground. Rock stands and steps away. Yorker gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rock lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yorker is looking for a triangle but Rock pushes his legs off easily.
Yorker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rock is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rock winds up and cracks Yorker with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Rock scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Yorker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Yorker looking for submissions off his back. Yorker tries to roll over but Rock keeps him under control. Rock lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Rock stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yorker throws a wild body kick that Rock sees coming a mile off. Yorker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Yorker is looking to regain half guard here but Rock keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Yorker is trying to work for a sweep but Rock has mounted him! Yorker looks gassed! Yorker tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rock is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Yorker has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Yorker! Rock wants to sweep but no luck. Yorker drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rock manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yorker has Rock in his guard.

Yorker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rock controls the pace. Rock has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Yorker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yorker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rock is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Rock scoring with punches to the head and body. Yorker keeping moving, preventing Rock from controlling successfully. Yorker has his foot on Rock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rock works his way back into a safe position though. Rock postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rock is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yorker throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rock escapes and throws Yorker's legs to the side, diving into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yorker tightening his grip on Rock, looking for the choke. Rock looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Rock tries to escape but Yorker has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Rock rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Rock tries to kick Yorker off but Yorker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rock might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rock trying to hold on to Yorker's head to control him but Yorker postures up.
Yorker is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rock!

Rock tries to lock up and control but Yorker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rock working to try and regain half guard.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rock tries to get out of the position. Yorker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rock manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yorker is trying to get an arm triangle but Rock is defending well. You can see the frustration on Rock's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Yorker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rock has escaped the position, nice work there. Yorker is breathing heavily. Yorker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rock, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rock throws Yorker to one side and escapes! Yorker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rock. That did some damage! Rock closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Yorker quickly recovers to half guard. Yorker works his way to full guard. Good work. Yorker keeping moving, preventing Rock from controlling successfully. Rock controlling from the top position. Rock gets to his feet - Yorker follows without any prompting. Rock chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Yorker can pounce on him.
Rock bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Yorker is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rock off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but New Yorker will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Yorker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rock's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Keller Rock is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yorker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rock's corner is telling him to maintain position. Yorker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Yorker has momentary wrist control but Rock slips an elbow through the middle. Rock engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rock has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Keller Rock. Rock shoots in and bounces Yorker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yorker has momentary wrist control but Rock slips an elbow through the middle. Keller Rock overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yorker works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rock sitting in guard, not really doing much. Rock stands up from guard. Let's bang! Yorker lands with a nice body kick. Yorker with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
