Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesus Tappaja!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tappaja fails to land the takedown.
Hunter lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hunter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tappaja tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Hunter stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Tappaja gets a takedown into half guard.
Tappaja is thwarting Hunter's attempts to control the position.
Tappaja wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hunter keeps working.
Tappaja is breathing heavily.
Hunter is trying to stand up here but Tappaja is controlling him well.
Hunter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Tappaja wants to free his trapped foot but Hunter is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hunter makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tappaja shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hunter counters with a one-two to the body.

Hunter drives through and clinches with Tappaja against the cage.
Tappaja tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Tappaja. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hunter prevents the takedown attempt.

Tappaja is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hunter can't fight it off and eventually Tappaja manages to take the fight to the floor. Hunter looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hunter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tappaja's guard.

Tappaja is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hunter has his hands clasped together but Tappaja extends an breaks Hunter's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tappaja.
