Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Bunker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bunker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Edith singin Those were the days..... Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Bradshaw!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Archie Bunker!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Bunker.
Bunker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bunker instigates a clinch.
Bradshaw stops a takedown attempt from Bunker.

Bradshaw has clasped his hands together around Bunker's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bunker is not content to let Bradshaw control the position.
Bunker is trying to get back to his feet.

Bunker manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Still in half guard, Bradshaw seems content to control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bradshaw takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bunker is trying to stand up here but Bradshaw is controlling him well.
Bradshaw has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bunker is staying active underneath Bradshaw, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bunker throws a half hearted mid kick.

Bradshaw gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bunker's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Bunker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bunker feints a jab promting Bradshaw to slip. Bunker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bradshaw slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Bobby Bradshaw has been cut.

and Bradshaw counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bunker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Bunker jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Bunker closes the distance and clinches.

Bunker gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bunker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradshaw is just riding it out for now. Bunker eventually gives up the hold.

Bunker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bunker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Bradshaw has managed to clinch.

Bunker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bradshaw gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bobby Bradshaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Archie Bunker.
Bunker makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bradshaw creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Bunker pushes off an throws an elbow but Bradshaw leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Horrible takedown by Bradshaw or perhaps it was just good defense by Bunker which made him look bad.

Bunker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bradshaw.

Bunker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bradshaw is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bunker, into his guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Archie Bunker was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bradshaw shoots in and drives through. Bunker sprawls well.

Bradshaw fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bunker, pushing him back against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bunker lands a right hand.
Bradshaw tries to break the clinch but Bunker is controlling the position.
Bunker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bradshaw avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bradshaw gets control of Bunker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bradshaw will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Bunker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bradshaw works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bradshaw will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bunker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bradshaw swivels though and keeps the full guard.
